Improvement of Staff Training








       The lack of training of SITAzens was one of the major complaints.  The following achievements

       during the January 2020/Q4 repor ng period were noted:


          4 Training results were captured on ERP Oracle Learner Management (OLM):


          4 585 employees a ended 853 training interven ons to date.


          4 668 courses were aligned to priori sed WSP interven ons; and



          4 185 are other in-house/opera onal training interven ons.


          4 R5.6m (VAT Incl.) was spent on the 853 courses/conferences to date.


          4 235 courses at zero cost (Internal events or using supplier contract training credits
              nego ated).



          4 Adverts for internal bursaries were published on 02 October 2019 and three hundred
              and thirty-three (333) applica ons were received, only two hundred and forty-six (246)
              met the requirements as outlined in the advert.  Due to financial constraints only
              undergraduate study applica ons were considered, the recommended number of the
              successful applicants was one hundred and fi een (115).



       This training coverage contributes to:
                 ü CBSC result:
                     538 of 1 252 = 43.0% of WSP training interven ons completed.
                 ü Q4 Target:
                     43% of 70% target achieved.
                 ü Coverage:
                     437 of 927 = 47.1% of WSP planned employees trained.
